Revitalizing the Digital Experience for Dover Federal Credit Union

1. Outdated Homepage Layout: The existing design lacked the ability to engage users effectively and direct them toward essential services and actions.
2. Limited Banner Functionality: The static banner system was difficult to manage and did not support dynamic updates or mobile usability.

Discovery & Research
We conducted a competitive analysis to benchmark DFCU’s homepage against industry leaders. Collaborating with stakeholders, we collected insights on primary goals and pain points. We also collected user feedback to identify interaction challenges and opportunities for improvement.

Design & Definition
Inclind designed comprehensive wireframes and mockups for desktop, tablet, and mobile views, focusing on:

• Enhanced Banner System:  Introduced dynamic and customizable CTAs and updated mobile elements to include a prominent ‘Login’ button.
• Clear Content Hierarchy: Structured content to efficiently guide users to essential actions, such as account openings.
• Responsive Design: Ensured layout consistency across devices, emphasizing mobile usability.

Front-End Development
Our team used a blend of CSS, JavaScript, and HTML to implement the designs:

• Updated loan panel styles and incorporated interactive banner elements for real-time messaging.
• Emphasized a mobile-first approach to guarantee an optimal experience for all users.

Quality Assurance & Deployment
We worked through internal testing to identify and resolve issues, such as aligning the slick slider dots and preventing text block overlaps. Regular client feedback sessions ensured the final product met DFCU’s expectations. The deployment phase included syncing the code to the live environment and training DFCU’s team on managing the banner features.
