Upgrading your Drupal Platform is key to taking advantage of new and exciting features
With the launch of its new website, gettothebc.com, not just Butler County, OH’s donuts are looking good. The Butler County Visitors Bureau (BCVB) made the move from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8, while getting a whole new website look and feel. With an improved landing page for their famous Donut Trail, a new interactive and engaging home page design, and a simplified site architecture, web visitors can “get to the BC” with ease.
The BCVB team came to Inclind via Drupal.org looking for a Drupal development team to upgrade their existing site to take advantage of more content management features. They wanted a visually compelling, modern design and a website that offers a better mobile experience.
The Inclind team of Shaun Tyndall, Nick Bumgarner, Dalton Tyndall, Amy Wood, Alex McCracken and Veronica Severyn collaborated closely with the marketing team at BCVB to send the old site packing and launch a whole new web experience promoting Butler County as a unique tourism destination.
The final result has all the features of a modern website with events calendars, galleries, a robust magazine-style blog, destination listings and landing pages to to entice visitors to “get to the BC.”
“With the sleek design, mobile optimizations, SEO focused approach, and accessibility improvements, our new website is such an incredible step up from our last one.,” said Tracy Kocher, Director of Marketing for BCVB. “The Inclind team made the whole process easy from start to finish and we’re thrilled with the final result.”
