Web Developer
Our web developer will produce well-crafted solutions based on planned specifications, using a mix of technical skills and creative innovation. The web developer needs sustained and consistent discipline, awareness of current trends, standards and practices, a working knowledge of Internet related software (i.e. Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, etc.) and an understanding of material costs and time limits, all of which can impact the development process of a website.
The main activities of the Web Developer are:
- Creating XHTML / CSS compliant pages
- Creating web graphics from digital artwork
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas
- Multi-tasking: Web developers often work on more than one task at a time
- Producing accurate and high quality work
- Contributing ideas to the development team
- Keeping abreast of developments in IT, particularly CSS standards
- Working well in a team, with programmers, graphics and logistics / layout staff
