Inclind, Inc.
Who We Are
Operating successfully and profitably since 1999, we have the experience and staying power, yet are still a small and young enough company that we can react and change very quickly. We are buzzword-aware, but not buzzword-driven. Businesses have operated, by and large, the same for decades (and in many respects, for centuries). Profit margins, human capital, marketing, analysis and planning, measurement, procurement and sales; all of these areas have remained much the same, even in the midst of sweeping technical advances. A dollar is still a dollar; a man-hour, still a man-hour (or perhaps it's now a person-hour).
Internet Professionals
Inclind's team of Internet Professionals understands the needs of business, both from technical and traditional perspectives. Our approach to projects involves a well-honed process including investigation, wireframing, analysis, review/modification, design, prototyping, communication, service procurement, implementation, measurement and follow-up. We have tweaked and perfected this process since the company was formed, and continue to refine it through market-awareness, innovation, invention, and pragmatism.
We focus on building relationships and business ventures, rather than simply creating the logic and design of Internet sites. We have successfully created relationships with service-based businesses, product-based businesses, government, education, and private organizations. We are well equipped and accustomed to the varied needs of different types and sizes of businesses and other entities. How can we help YOU?
Our Staff
President
Shaun Tyndall, the president of Inclind, Inc., has been focused on the Internet since the early 90's. His focus lead him to the
University of Delaware in 1998, with hopes to obtain a Computer Science degree. After completing a successful
freshman year at UD he founded Inclind.
The early success of the business forced a transfer to Wilmington College in order to obtain his desired education while continuing to operate the business. Over the following three years he commuted two days a week to participate in classes for twelve hours. Shaun was able to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Internet and Network Design in 2002.
He now heads up a thirteen person team in a new location in downtown Georgetown, DE. Inclind is one of the first brick and mortar web site design and development companies in the area to bring internet solutions to the whole region including the beaches.
Senior Developer
Inclind doubled in size when we brought on Steve Robison, Jr., Senior Developer and coffee connoisseur. His mild mannered
exterior tends to obscure his super speed coding ability. His hands fly over the keyboard at speeds which dazzle and baffle onlookers. He is master of the realms of
coding, database design, object architecture, and business process modeling.
He has been adept and comfortable with computers for longer than he can remember. His earliest jobs were with CE Computers and CE Net. There he honed his skills in computer hardware, software, repair, installation, and networking. At CE Net, he began to develop his skills in Internet programming while "Internet" was not yet a household term.
After attending the University of Delaware, in Newark, Steve took a position as a computer repair technician with BBS Computers in Georgetown. While proficient and skilled and effective in the area of computer hardware, he followed his heart and landed a job as a ColdFusion programmer with a small company in central Delaware. When the opportunity to work with a growth-minded and ambitious Inclind, Steve jumped at the chance.
Internet Architect
Kevin Quillen joined the Inclind team in September 2005. He graduated from Delaware Tech with an associates degree in Microcomputer Networking, and went on to get his
bachelors degree from Wilmington College in Information Technology Resource Management. Kevin's love and passion for video games landed him in workshops at
Digipen in Redmond, Washington, Nintendo of America's premiere video game design college. After working with games, he concluded
it wasn't for him, and thus turned his attention to the internet. He has been working with computers since he was 6 years old.
With a varied background in both hardware and software, in his free time he taught himself how to build websites, eventually building sites for local bands as well as handling and assisting developement in all websites for the national act "CKY". He has also worked on projects for worldwide gaming network EdgeNetwork in the past.
Kevin enjoys a wide variety of music and is also a self taught guitar player. He has appeared in national magazine Guitar One (May 2005) and enjoyed a brief gig in a touring band. He joins Inclind as a vital asset, possessing a creative mind with the ability to problem solve and being quick on his feet.
Senior Developer
Steve Robison, Sr (a.k.a. Senior, Stevie Ray, Grandpa) joined the dynamic and growing Inclind team on Valentine's Day, 2006. He is a master of Zen,
a poet, a photographer, a philosopher. "Senior", however prefers the
title Geek. After several years in quick service restaurant management, he discovered a love of things technical, especially computers. Starting with a Vic 20 in
the early eighties, he developed a rich set of skills in electronics, networking, operating systems, software, and finally, programming.
Programming runs in the family; Steve Sr's dad was a mainframe programmer for 25 years for GEICO (before the gecko). His sister is also a programmer, working on top secret projects inside the beltway. He is proficient in several languages and technologies: C, C++, Assembly, Visual Basic, PHP, perl, SQL an MUMPs. He has a special affinity for ColdFusion, it seems to just come natural, flows like the words of a beautiful poem.
Steve was Vice President of CE Computers, with locations in Georgetown, Delaware and Salisbury, Maryland, leading a team of 15 technical people. Under his watch, his team helped to grow the company to over $2.5 Million in annual revenue. He was Co-Founder, President and chief architect of CE Net, also in Georgetown, growing the company from startup to over 1500 dial-up subscribers. When it became apparent that the Internet access market was changing, Steve and his partners sold the company to a competitor.
When he's not working, Steve can be found shooting flowers around Georgetown and writing poems. His wide variety of skills and interests makes Steve a welcome addition to the Inclind team.
Director of Finance
In April 2006, Inclind embarked on a search for just the right person to head up client communications. Our focus on professional, consistent and effective dialog led
us to bring on Jessica O'Donnell. In her position as Communications Director, her mission is to effectively provide the two-way channel necessary which creates truly
effective business processes. Inclind's focus on business, service, and processes - along with cutting edge technology - requires a constant stream of information
between us and our clients.
Jessica brings much passion and excitement to the team. Her bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, her holistic outlook, and her balanced approach all meld to foster equilibrium amongst our diverse team. Her enthusiasm is quite captivating and contagious. Jessica's family moved to southern Delaware when she was very young. She's lived either here in Sussex County or on campus at UD (University of Delaware) all but three years of her life. This familiarity with the area gives her the ability to interact very well in both professional and personal situations.
In her free time, Jessica spends much time at the beach. She enjoys spending time with family, exercise and enjoying life. It's a pretty safe bet that on sunny days, when she's not working, she'll be at the beach. On rainy days, you'll find her at the mall or the outlets; Jessica loves to shop.
She is an extremely personable woman with an exceptional talent for communicating with clients that most of us don't have. She may not build the sites, but she can explain to you what's going on with yours! Contact her for any questions on an existing project or with ideas for your new site!
Marketing Director
Susan Hillman joins Inclind with a wealth of skills in several diverse areas. She is an extreme, though humble, achiever. Designer and Manager of her high school's
yearbook, a member of the National Honor Society, Advertising Manager for "The Flyer," Salisbury University's newspaper, earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications
in three years, Dean's List each semester, Magna Cum Laude. She has been involved in print design and editing and marketing for eight years, in the digital realm for
two. Her strengths are in organization, layout, editing, marketing, and tying together all those areas to present a complete and effective message.
In her free time, Susan stays very active with outdoor pursuits: biking, camping, fishing, and boating; Susan is also a voracious and avid shopper. She enjoys spending time with her Yorkie, Lillie. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys photography and art, having a love of the beauty of correctness and aesthetics.
Susan's balanced approach to marketing, layout, content, design and usability make her the perfect fit to round out the team of Internet Professionals at Inclind. She joins Inclind with great enthusiasm and an attitude to succeed.
Creative Developer
With Inclind growing at a steady and constant pace, new blood was needed to keep up with the increasing workload. Sharing the high standards of the Inclind team,
Kevin Howett, (“Kev”), stepped up and filled the position of Creative Developer in October of 2006. Kevin was introduced to computers at the young age of 5; with his
father being an accomplished Electrical Engineer, computers were a common sight around the household. Living in lower Delaware, much of his childhood was spent at the
beach. But when he wasn’t at the beach, Kevin was on a computer, advancing his knowledge and skills.
After graduating high school, Kevin moved to Philadelphia to attend the Art Institute of Philadelphia. He graduated with a bachelors degree in "Multimedia and Web Design." Following his matriculation, he moved back to Delaware to be closer to his family and his passion, the ocean. Much of his free time after earning his degree was spent designing freelance websites and video editing, when he wasn’t either working at his job as Network Administrator for a large accounting firm or bodyboarding in his beloved ocean. His day job encompassed setting up and maintaining networks between multiple offices, troubleshooting network problems, and meeting with partners to discuss and influence future technical needs. Though these tasks helped him grow in a technical field, he yearned for the opportunity to be more creative and gladly accepted the challenge of joining the team at Inclind.
Kevin brings a wide array of experience and interests to the table including graphic design, video editing, 3D design and rendering, and Flash animation. In the technical realm, Kevin brings knowledge in several different programming languages and areas including PHP, SQL, CSS, and ActionScript.
Internet Technologist
With Inclind’s project list continuing to expand, Trey Bowden joined the team as an Internet Technologist in November 2006. Trey is a Delaware native; born and raised
in Sussex County, he has been working with computers since he was 7 years old. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Information Resource Management in 2004 and a
Master of Science in Information Systems Technology in 2006, both from Wilmington College. He is a member of the board of directors for the Sussex County Chapter of
the Wilmington College Alumni Association and recently became an Adjunct Instructor for the college as well.
In his spare time, Trey enjoys power lifting at the gym, often blaring heavy metal music during his workouts. He is a self taught bass guitar player and loves experimenting with the various styles of playing and genres of music.
Inclind welcomes the talents Trey brings to the organization, enabling us to better bridge the gulf that still exists between internal and external systems. He brings over eight years of professional experience in project management & computer hardware, software, repair, installation, and networking. He is enthusiastically focused on scanning the technology sector for the latest developments… always looking for ways to improve our clients’ businesses through efficient and intuitive use of technology.
Graphics & Illustration Director
The team at Inclind was quite pleased when we learned that graphics and illustration wizard, Tom Brown Jr, would be joining the ranks. Tom brings skills in both the web and print realms, being highly skilled in design and illustration, page layout, user interface design, CSS, HTML, and more. Says Tom about the burgeoning of his passion for art and design:
I was six when my older brother came home with a school art project and I watched him struggle for hours and somehow ended up doing my own drawing of the same subject. It was not really the subject that inspired me but the effort and end result. I started drawing stock cars - but it was the decals that piqued my interest. Really cool logos and colorful slogans made me really look at the world around me and think about why we buy what we buy.
Tom has had a strong desire to bring ideas and concepts and images from his mind’s eye for a very long time. He’s a seasoned veteran with over fifteen years of professional experience, being a professional graphic and advertising design artist since before he graduated from Kent County Vo-Tech (now Polytech High School) in Woodside, Delaware. He went on to earn an Associate in Visual Communications degree from Delaware Technical and Community College, achieving the designation of National Deans’ List.
Tom, a lifetime resident of Delaware, loves to spend time with his wife and kids, hiking in local parks and taking day trips to nearby attractions. Tom is a welcome addition to the growing and talented team of professionals at Inclind.
Communications Representative
Nancy Jones may be relatively new to Sussex County but she feels right at home with Inclind, Inc. Always ready to handle anything that flies her way, Nancy tackles the day with a sparkling telephone manner and the right attitude to get things done. She is a passionate individual when it comes to helping others. She wishes more people knew how to be more selfless and more considerate, compassionate and empathetic people.
Moving here from Indiana and originally from New Jersey, she previously worked for the United States Navy and also Purdue University of Lafayette. As a family oriented person, Nancy enjoys living with her husband Nathan and their dog. She enjoys the outdoors and travel as well as the tax free shopping in Delaware.
On the rare day when Nancy is out of the office we miss her support greatly. She ensures that our office runs smoothly through the day. She is the smiling face one sees the instant one walks in the door. Nancy is a great complement to the staff where she shows that she truly cares about her Inclind family.
Application Developer
Mild-mannered Pete Stein, Inclind’s new guy and Application Developer is a study in contradictions. His humble words and soft spoken timbre hide a deep and probing intellectual nature. He is a natural coder and a skilled analyst.
Pete joins the varied and character-filled Inclind team after holding several jobs in technology fields for the past seven years, gaining expert knowledge and experience in CSS, JavaScript, ColdFusion, PHP, Perl, Tcl/Tk, Linux, SQL, Java, and more. He matriculated from Clark University in Worcester, Mass. with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Government and International Relations (Dual Degree) ((a constant over-achiever)).
Open-minded, with a wide set of views and opinions, Pete holds and practices many interests outside the realm of programming including: digital photography, sports (an Eagles fan), reading, the beach, and his cat “Buster.” Rumors that Pete’s secret identity is Underdog are likely fallacious.
Director of Planning & Special Projects
Frank Payton is truly technologically oriented. Formerly working for Allfirst and M&T Bank of Millsboro, granted him with a rich variety of work experiences. He was introduced to project management and became proficient at project planning. As a technical analyst with the bank he assisted the Consumer Loans division with increasing overall production time. He worked on application decision systems, technologies for document management, database re–architecture, as well as server configuration and design.
Frank holds an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Delaware Tech and he is a candidate for a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware. His willingness to learn feeds his appetite for technology.
Native and long–time resident of Sussex County, Frank has been a Punkin’ Chunkin’ participant since 1993. Frank delights in being a technological innovator and enjoys building or improving on existing ideas whether they apply to century–old catapults or modern–day computers.
His first computer, from a family friend, was a troublesome homemade Pentium 486 without sound–card or cd–rom. He actually enjoys trouble–shooting computers and is willing to go the extra mile where others would give up. He has no fear of failure.
Frank enjoys many hobbies including deer hunting, beer brewing, and horseshoes. His foremost and favorite hobby is hiking. For several years, Frank and his wife have enjoyed going to the Shenandoah Valley and National Park. He estimates they have hiked 70% of the mountain trails off of Skyline Drive which runs within Virginia’s eternally scenic Blue Ridge mountains along the National Appalachian Trail.
Frank maintains that his decision to work for Inclind is for personal growth sustaining his belief of being part of something great. As he pushes forward towards future achievements, he is an agreeable addition to our team.
Web Developer
The crisp fall season of 2007 was the right time for Amanda Mitchell to join Inclind’s growing team. Amanda is a bright, well–rounded, and hard-working individual.
Amanda has been surrounded by computers since birth. She has been engaged with technology since the day she sat upright as a tot and first played Ms. Pac-man on a now ancient ’TRS-80 color computer’. Her thirst for puzzles and video games survives to this day. In her rare spare time she now enjoys Sudoku, crossword and jigsaw puzzles which keep her logical and problem solving skills sharp.
Amanda was raised in Sussex County and hails from the western Sussex town of Laurel. She excelled at Laurel High School where she got her first taste of web design in the school media center. Amanda went on to the University of Delaware where she carried on the legacy and tradition of being another proud member in the family line of UD graduates. Always an achiever, Amanda graduated cum laude from the University of Delaware with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. While studying the justice system, she also devoted time to completing two minors: Computer Science and Interactive Media. Amanda took varied courses in everything from black holes to video editing. In her senior year she studied several new media classes focusing on web design within the departments of Fine Art, Communications, English, and Computer Science. This sparked her interest in the areas of information architecture and usability which ultimately led her to Inclind.
